I’m planning to switch over to one of VOIP provider. If I don’t like the service, I will switch over to another company. I want the existing phone nbr. How many times I can port my phone nbr?

You can port your phone number any amount of times and from any carrier to another carrier. I think there is a fee for this, though.

    Not all providers can port numbers it is best to ask the provider if your number can be ported before you switch. Your number can be ported as many times as you want providing the provider can port it. I am thinking about switching to vontage but in our area our numbers can not be ported.
